· When price shopping is the monument dealer including all fees like foundations, additional line inscription, or emblems on the monument. Ask about any hidden or costs or fees.

· Ask where the granite comes from good granite comes from the middle and inner layers of a quarry they should be free from oxidation and any environmental hazards.

· Avoid places that offer big discounts or rebates, they may not be a great bargain after all. Somebody has to pay for it.
