Obituary

LITTLE FALLS Alice C. Bacher, 85 of 58 Burwell Street, Little Falls passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at Little Falls Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on October 9, 1922 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Reuben S. and Catherine (Gormley) Bacher. She was a graduate of St. Marys Academy, Little Falls class of 1940 as well as a graduate of St. Peters Hospital School of Nursing, Albany. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish of Little Falls and Rosarians of that church. She was also a member of the St. Peters School of Nursing Alumni Association. Miss. Bacher was employed as a Registered Nurse at Little Falls Hospital. Retiring as the supervisor of the surgical nursing staff after 42 years of service to the hospital. She is survived by her sister Mary R. Bacher, Little Falls with whom she resided, her nephew R. Kevin Bacher and his wife Linda, Liverpool, NY, 2 nieces Gail Kimmal and her husband William, Grambrills, MD and Cheryl Trousdale and her husband Kenneth, Colorado Springs, CO, her grand nieces and nephews Beth Gresock and her husband Allan, Brian Bacher and Krisi Bacher, Christopher, Michelle and Katie Kimmal and Matthew Trousdale and her sister in law Elizabeth Bacher, Melbourne, FL. She was predeceased by her brother James Ray Bacher on April 24, 2006 and by her fiancé© Albert Peskur on June 6, 1985. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 12:00 pm from the Holy Family Parish Church, Cor, Main & John Sts, Little Falls where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills in the spring. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Miss. Bacher be considered to the Holy Family Parish Church, 763 E. Main St., Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
