Bernard R. "Bernie" Mosher, 78, of Danube, New York, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2026, surrounded by his cherished family.

Born on June 16, 1948, in Fairfield, New York, Bernie was the beloved son of the late Frank and Ruth Looman Mosher. He graduated from Oppenheim High School in 1967 and spent his life in the local community he loved.

Bernie dedicated his career as an equipment operator for the Town of Danube until his retirement. He had a true passion for working with equipment, especially cherishing his time mowing the lawn on his John Deere tractor.

On June 21, 1969, Bernie married Barbara Barker and shared a life full of love and family. He is predeceased by his parents, grandson Landan Walrath, brothers Milford "Bud", Brayton, Ronnie, Clyde, Wayne Mosher, and sister Sharon Mosher.

Bernie is lovingly remembered by his wife, Barbara Mosher; his children Tamera and Tracey Howard, Tonya and Brian Walrath, Russell and Jennifer Mosher, Richard Mosher, and Bobette VanDyke; grandchildren Kyle Rowe, June Mosher, Russell Mosher, Dillon Mosher, Blake Walrath, Nicole Howard; and great-grandchildren Jaxon Rowe and Gatlin Rowe. He also leaves behind siblings Glen Mosher, Ann Perry, Lena Baumes, Maude Cheney, and Carol Hulbert; sister-in-law Janice Comstock; brother-in-law Robert Barker; and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Arrangements for cremation are under the care of Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Little Falls, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Bernie's memory to Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. in New Hartford, NY.
