LITTLE FALLS- Betty Ann Nellis, 72 of Sherman Street, Little Falls passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at her residence. She was born on January 18, 1943 in Little Falls, NY the daughter of the late William J and Elizabeth (Sterusky) Grose. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School. On September 11, 1965 she was united in marriage to Frank L. Snyder at the United Methodist Church, Little Falls. Mr. Snyder predeceased her on May 28, 1985. Then on May 4, 1991 she was united in marriage to Richard Nellis in Ilion, NY. Mr. Nellis predeceased her on March 5, 2011. She had a strong faith in God, and she enjoyed making soup and baking cookies for her family and friends. She especially enjoyed her time spent at the family camp on Piseco Lake and for many years working alongside her husband's Frank and Dick in broadcast radio at the former WLFH, Little Falls. Mrs. Nellis was employed for many years at the Indian Castle Restaurant on the NYS Thruway. She was later employed until her retirement as a production line operator for the former LaSalle Labs., Co., Little Falls. She is survived by her brother and sister in law; Charles P. and Marie Grose, Frankfort, NY and her sister in law; Joan Grose, S. Daytona Beach, FL, her cousin; Jean Fogarty, Little Falls and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
