Mrs. Carol L. Buddles, 82, of Baum Road, St. Johnsville, NY, passed away at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, NY on March 5th, 2025.

Carol was born on February 1, 1943, the daughter of Harry C. Darling and Marlyn Prevost Darling. Carol was educated at Little Falls and Fort Plain schools, graduating from Fort Plain High School, class of 1961.

For some time, she had worked as a home health aide, as well as at the St. Johnsville Central School cafeteria.

She was of the Methodist faith.

She was predeceased in death by her first husband, David Looman, in 1982, and her second husband, Henry C. Buhrmaster, in 2014, her brother Donald A. Darling, and her stepson, Todd L. Buhrmaster.

She is survived by her husband, Homer Buddles of St. Johnsville, NY; son Aaron D. Looman (Kathy) of St. Johnsville, NY; 3 daughters, Becky L.and her husband Donald Ball of St. Johnsville, NY,  Deborah L. and her husband Robert Ferris of Watertown, NY, and Karen L. and her husband Marc Eldridge, of Hillsboro, New Hampshire;  stepson Scott C. and his wife Laura Buhrmaster of Chicago, Illinois; step-daughter Bethany and her husband Keene Silfer of Dryden, NY;  brother Larry R Darling of Gloversville; and her sister Beverlee A. and her husband Bruce of Fort Plain, NY; sister in law; Barbara Darling; many grandchildren Great-Grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00-12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY 13365. A funeral service will follow at noon. Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating.
