Mrs. Carol Perkins, 94, passed away on June 8th, 2024, at the Cooperstown Bassett following a brief illness. Carol was born on December 6, 1929, the daughter of Lawrence and Marie Avery Vanish in Oppenheim, NY.

She graduated from Oppenheim High School.

Mrs. Perkins was a mother and homemaker. She enjoyed playing the piano and reading books, among other activities, to fill her days.

She married Howard L. Perkins on June 12th, 1947, in Dolgeville, NY; together, they enjoyed 59 years of marriage before his passing on September 17, 2006.

She was also predeceased in death by her sister, Reatha Palmer, and brother, George Vanish.

Her parents and daughter, Elaine Perkins (May 2020), passed away before her.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa, and her husband, Steven Waller, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private graveside interment service will take place at Salisbury Rural Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.

Cremation and internet services are under the care and direction of Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY 13365.
