Donald C.Edmunds, Jr., 82, of Little Falls, NY, passed away at the Bassett Healthcare Center of Cooperstown on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, with his family by his side.
Donald was born on July 28, 1943, in Little Falls, NY, a son of the late Donald Edmunds, Sr., and Polly (Curtiss) Edmunds. Donald graduated from Little Falls High School. He was a hard-working man and a great provider for his family. He owned and operated several businesses over the years, D&L Gunsmithing and D&L Home Care, and he also worked for Remington for 37 years. He lived in Little Falls his whole life. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of Little Falls.
Donald was a lifelong member of the Poly Road Hunting Camp. He had a love for NASCAR, and he enjoyed watching Dale Earnhardt. He also loved working at the family pizzeria until he was 82.
Donald married the love of his life, Laura Saypack, and they spent over 50 years together.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Joseph Turturo.
He is survived by his loving wife, Laura, his children, Tony (Sherri) Edmunds, James (Sharon) Edmunds, Treika (Anthony) Scarano, and Christopher (Stacia) Edmunds, grandchildren, Ryan, Josh, Torrey, Gabriel, Taylor, Devin, Caitlin, Laura, Jennifer, Vincent, Neiko, Lorenzo, Casey Anthony, Amanda and Lechelle, great-grandchildren, Maggie, Kiera, Lagatha, Azalia Lilith, Nick, and Morgan, his sister, Joann Failing, his nieces and nephews, Todd (Robin), Tim (Mariella), and Valicity (Zane), great nieces and nephews, Jovonna (Neil), Marcus (Sara), Timmy, Nicole, Joey and Hunter also many great great grand nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 15, 2026 at 1 PM at the home of Laura and Donald.
