Dear son of Mayre (nee Elmer), Milwaukee, WI. Brother of Rich, Montello, WI, Brother in law of Wayne Spofford, San Diego, CA, Craig (Stephanie) Spofford, Dolgeville, NY, Penny (Brett) Kula, Schenectady, NY and Amanda (Jason) Bailey, Syracuse, NY. Uncle of Haili, Milwaukee, WI, Cerina, Emily and Hannah, Dolgeville, NY and Natalie, Schenectady, NY. Great uncle of Mia, Milwaukee, WI. Son in law of Carl and Pam Spofford, Dolgeville, NY / Myrtle Beach, SC. Step son of Patricia Drake, Dana Point, CA. Preceded in death by his father Dennis Drake. He will be deeply missed by dog Peanut. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends. Doug coached youth football and basketball, he will be missed by all of his players. He was avid sports fan and had a great sense of humor. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday Jan. 14th from 11:00 am -1:00 pm at the Heritage Funeral Home, (New Berlin Chapel) 16880 W. National Ave., New Berlin, WI with a Memorial Service at 1:00 pm.
