HERKIMER – Edward J. Miller, 86 of Herkimer passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Valley Health Services, Herkimer where he had been a resident since 2010. He was born on July 10, 1931 in the Town of Little Falls the son of the late Philipp and Rose (Urich) Miller. He was educated in Little Falls schools. He was a member of the former Christ Lutheran Church, Little Falls. Mr. Miller resided at onetime at the former Julia Jones Home in Newport and at the Middleville Rest Home for many years. He was predeceased by his brothers, Emil and Robert Miller and his sisters, Eva Edick, Lillian Caiola, Arlene Murphy and Helen Salanco. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Mt. View Memorial Gardens, Town of Little Falls in the spring. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours.
