Mr. Gregory A. Santry, 63, of E Gansevoort Street, Little Falls, NY died on December 25, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Greg was born in Manhattan, NY on May 26, 1959, the son of Joseph Santry, Esq., and Beverly Clarke Santry, both who predeceased him.

He was a graduate of Little Falls High School, class of 1977, and continued his education at LeMoyne College obtaining his bachelor's degree in labor relations, then continued later on working on his master's degree at LeMoyne.

Greg had just retired from his position as Director of Personnel at the Mohawk Valley Water Authority on December 23, 2022. Prior to that he had worked at Merrill Lynch, Cherry Burrell, Special Metals, AAR and served as a New York State Magistrate.

He had lived most of his life in the local area and was a known to be a civic minded individual having served as a city alderman, Rotarian, eagle scout, Knight of Columbus and put great effort into saving the city pool.

He was also an active member of the Roman Catholic Church at Holy Family Parish, Little Falls. He was a man of impeccable character and lived his faith. Friends characterized him as a man of tenacity, loyalty and honesty, always willing to help one in need, "it was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge."

On October 15, 1994, at St. Mary's Church he married Anne Bielejec.

Survivors include his wife; Anne Santry; sister Mary Ellen Hinkle; a niece, and several cousins.

Calling hours will be held at Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY 13365 on Monday January 2, 2022 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday January 3rd at 11:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 763 E. Main Street, Little Falls, NY 13365, with burial following at St. Mary's Cemetery.
