Jerry T. Monk, 70, of Fordsbush Road, Fort Plain, NY (Town of Danube), passed away on October 10, 2026, at the Wynn Hospital, with his family by his side.

He was born on March 7, 1956, in Little Falls, NY, the son of Burdette and Eleanor Frasier Monk, both whom predeceased him. He graduated from Owen D. Young High School, class of 1974.

He worked at Beech-Nut for 26 years, tried his hand at farming for 10 years, and went on to be self-employed for 20 more years, driving people around. 

When he was younger, he belonged to the Coon Club and enjoyed hunting with his family and friends. 

On June 28, 1980, he was married to Theresa Jump at the Fort Plain Baptist Church. Together, they celebrated 46 years of marriage. 

He was predeceased by his brothers Patrick and Michael; brother-in-law Rainer Gebhardt; aunts uncles, and grandparents.

Survivors include his wife; Theresa Monk (Jump), Kristina Marcoux (David), Amanda Monk, Eric Monk (Kaileigh), siblings Mary Gebhardt, Robert Monk (Debbie), Martin Monk, Barb Dolly (Morgan), Donny Monk (Paula), 4 grandchildren, Austin James Monk Kimmel, Ian Shepard, Eric Monk, Jr., "Trapper", Meave Monk, 1 great grandson, Walker James Monk, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

According to Jerry's wishes there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted to Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY 13365.
