Mr. John R. Coffin, Jr., 66, of Little Falls, NY, passed away at the Little Falls Bassett Hospital on August 25, 2026.

Born on November 1, 1959, in Little Falls, NY, he was the son of the late John R. Coffin, Sr and Betty A. Darling Coffin. 

In 1978, he graduated from Little Falls High School. After graduation, he held several jobs; most recently, he was a foreman at Key-Mark for 13 years. He had also worked at Demry Farms and Sentinel in St. Johnsville. 

John was of the Catholic faith.

He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers Robert Coffin and Clifford Coffin Sr., sister Donna Lee Blakeslee; and his niece Eliza Richards.

Survivors include his children, Teresa Nicole Coffin, Ryan Matthew Coffin, Joshua James Coffin, Kalib John Coffin, and Matthew Coffin; sister Lucinda and Kevin Richards; sister-in-law Linda Coffin; several Grandchildren, an expected great-grandchild; special friend Christy Major,  many nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as a multitude of friends he made while living at Rocton Plaza the past few years, especially Darla, who helped him endlessly, espically helping take care of his beloved cats, Fat Fred and Mama Kitty. 

The family welcomes anyone who wishes to attend to join them at the St. Mary's Cemetery on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 10:00 to celebrate John's life.
