Mr. Macnair "Joe" Hyney, Jr., 62, of State Route 168, Mohawk, NY, passed away at home on November 6th, 2024.

Joe was born on March 8th, 1962, in Amsterdam, NY, the son of Macnair Hyney, Sr. and Martha Lee Hyney.

He attended school at Owen D. Young, VanHornsville, NY.

Joe lived his entire life in the local area and was self-employed as the owner and operator of New Look Home Improvements.

In his spare time prior to his passing, Joey enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and his love of pumpkin farming.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Everson Hyney; son Macnair Hyney, III; sister Desiree Kocjan; brother, William Hyney; stepchildren Sean and Julie Madison; grandchildren Aubrey Hyney, Emily Blagg (Madison), Ethan Madison, Cody Davis, Kaitlyn, and Steven O'Donnell; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many great friends.

His brother, Trevor Hyney, predeceased him.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated, and scattered on the family farm, with no formal services.
