LITTLE FALLS - Marguerite Frances Rizzi, 89 a longtime resident of Little Falls, NY passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Valley Health Services, Herkimer where she had been a resident since May of 2009. She was born on August 9, 1926 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Philo C. and Marguerite (Austin) Petrie. On May 31, 1947 she was united in marriage to her husband of 46 years Joseph Rizzi at St. Joseph's Church Parish House, Little Falls. Mr. Rizzi predeceased her on May 18, 1993. Mrs. Rizzi was employed for several years by the former Gilbert Knitting Mill, Little Falls. She is survived by her niece; Sallie Obman and her husband Peter, Little River, SC and many grandnieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother; Robert Petrie and by her sister; June LaPoint. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 10:00 am at Fairview Cemetery, Town of Little Falls. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours.
