Patricia M. Brown, 87, of Landing, went to be with her Savior after a brief illness at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover, New Jersey, on Saturday, September 5, 2026.

Patricia was born on August 10, 1939, in Minden, NY, to Earl C. and Grace E. (née Moore) Saunders. She graduated from Fort Plain High School with the Class of 1957. In high school, Pat enjoyed courses such as typing, stenography, and business law. She began her working life as a secretary at Ontario Bible Conference and later worked for Beech-Nut in Canajoharie. After moving to Staten Island, she worked in Manhattan as an executive secretary for Seaboard Surety and Aon Corporation.

When Patricia was ten years old, she went with her church group to hear Jack Wyrtzen preach. She put her faith in Jesus Christ that day. Her favorite Bible verse is Galatians 2:20: “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

Patricia met Arnold at the Baptist Church of Little Falls in 1961. They were married on June 23, 1962, and enjoyed 63 years of joyful marriage until Arnold went to be with the Lord. Together, they raised three blessed children in their home on Staten Island.

She is survived by her children, Janice (Joaquin) Rodriguez, Daniel (Irina) Brown, and Thomas (Dolores) Brown; grandchildren, David (Kelly) Rodriguez, Danielle (Durell) Grisebaum, Jonathan (Jenna) Rodriguez, Kara (Michael) Maldarelli, Gabrielle Brown, and Zachary (Clare) Brown; and great-grandchildren, Harper, Lily, Owen, Lucy, Caleb, Geneva, Emrys, Bethany, Shiloh, Talia, and Addie.

Her family will remember Patricia for her loving devotion to Arnold, the hymns and praise that filled their home, and her knack for any word game. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Tuttle Funeral Home from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 7:30 p.m.

Interment will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Rural Park Cemetery in Little Falls, NY. Local Arrangments are under the direction of Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY 13365.
