LITTLE FALLS – Phyllis Taylor, 87 formerly of 589 E. Gansevoort Street, Little Falls and for the past several years a resident of the Mohawk Valley Health Care Center, Ilion passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at that residence. She was born on June 20, 1927 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Virgil J. and Rhoda (Reese) Wilson. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School. On November 27, 1954 she was united in marriage to her husband of 52 years Arthur M. Taylor at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Little Falls. Mr. Taylor predeceased her on December 6, 2006. She is survived by her sons; Peter A. Taylor, Little Falls and David A. Taylor and husband Richard L. Vogt., Little Falls, her daughter Susan A. McLain, Newport, Oregon, 2 grandsons; Justin and Michael McLain, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Roger A. Wilson on February 5, 1995. Graveside services will be held at Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls at a time and date to be announced later in the spring. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours.
