LITTLE FALLS Susan Murphy, 92 formerly of 29 Top Notch Drive, Little Falls and since October of 2006 a resident of the Folts Home, Herkimer passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 at that residence. She was born on June 2, 1918 in Little Falls the daughter of the late John and Suzanna (Kovac) Sadlon. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School Class of 1935 as well as a graduate of the Utica School of Commerce. She was united in marriage to her husband of 50 years Donald P. Murphy on May 18, 1946. Mr. Murphy predeceased her on June 1, 1996. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Falls. Mrs. Murphy took great pride in her home on Top Notch Drive and especially enjoyed tending to her yard. She was employed for many years as a book keeper for the Burrows Paper Corp., Little Falls. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Donald (Bruce) & Patricia Murphy, Vonore, TN, her sister Kristina Stack, Herkimer and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 brothers George, Stephen, Paul, John and Samuel Sadlon and her sister Anne Kubica. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours.
