ILION - Thomas J. Leonard, 79 formerly London Towers, Ilion, NY passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at Mohawk Valley Heath Care Center, Ilion where he has been a resident since 2014. He was born on April 5, 1937 in Ilion, NY the son of the late Wilson Leonard and the late Lillian (Gallagher) Leonard Keller. He was a graduate of Owen D. Young High School, Van Hornesville, NY Class of 1956. Mr. Leonard was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. Entering the service on April 16, 1957 in Albany, NY. He was honorably discharged as a Corporal on October 25, 1959 in San Francisco, CA. He was employed for many years by the former Union Fork & Hoe Co., Frankfort. He is survived by his brothers, Richard Leonard, Toronto, Canada, David Leonard, Ilion and Roy Leonard, Herkimer, and by his sister, Mary Zambri and her husband Thomas, Little Falls. He was predeceased by his brother, Harry Leonard. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in St.'s Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Canajoharie, NY where military honors will be accorded. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours.
