Mr. Wayne E. Ropeter, 67, of E. Monroe Street, Little Falls, NY, died at the Wynn Hospital, Utica, NY, on January 13, 2024. He was born in Little Falls, NY, on September 18, 1956, the son of the late Earl and Wava Walrath Ropeter.

He attended Little Falls High School. After high school, he was employed as a farmer for some time. Following this, he went on to work in the construction field. Most recently, he worked for A and H Construction in Herkimer, NY.

Survivors include his children, Wayne Ropeter, Jr., Kevin Ropeter, Jonathan Ropeter, Joseph Ropeter, Matthew Ropeter, Jennifer Ropeter, Kristy Holl, and Kari Ropeter; his companion Regina Conover; brothers Robert L. Ropeter, Richard A. Ropeter; sisters Elaine Ropeter, Lisa Warn, and Tammy Miller; many grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be receiving friends and relatives from 12:00 noon until 2:00PM at the funeral home, with a small prayer at the end of the visitation.; cremation and burial of the cremated remains are under the direction of Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY 13365.

Burial of the cremated remains will take place in the spring at Curtiss Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his parents.
